Minister Oleg Nyu

The Lord has been gracious to me and my family. His plans and thoughts are higher than any of mine.  I was born in 1980, in Almaty, Kazakhstan, in the former USSR.  My parents immigrated there around 1960s, from Xinjiang and Gansu provinces of China.  My family was not religious, we did not talk about God nor worship any gods.  In 1995 I came to America as an exchange student.  By God's divine plan, He sent a few American people to share the Good News of Jesus with me, and by May 1996, I made a personal decision to repent of my sins and believe in Christ for salvation.  I thank Him daily for saving me and giving me a new life to live for Him. I sensed His call to be His servant-minister in 1998. I was married in 1999 to Hsiao-Yuan who also had a similar calling on life.  Upon our graduation from Universities in Oklahoma, we attended Southwestern Seminary in Fort Worth.  I am privileged to be His servant in Norman's Chinese church since 2003 as a Children and Youth Minister.  He blessed us with 2 young children.  Our life purpose is to glorify Christ by living in faith day by day.
